Things are progressing well on the Plot A2 site at Thorpe Park Leeds. The building known as ‘Lumina’ will provide approx. 35,000 sq ft of premium specification Grade A office accommodation and has been designed to BREEAM Excellent standards. The building’s ‘square’ form with a central core creates an efficient, flexible floorplan and maximises the area of office space with access to natural daylight from external windows, while a set back on the top floor reduces the building’s overall massing and provides a roof terrace overlooking the adjacent Green Park.
The scheme is the first development within the CJCT designed phase 2 masterplan at Thorpe Park, a joint venture by Scarborough Group International Ltd and Legal & General Capital as part of a £162m investment deal which will provide jobs, homes and amenity facilities to East Leeds as well as supporting the wider Leeds economy.
Lumina is due for completion in August.
