Shortlisted AJ120 practice and Employer of the Year,  CJCT (Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher) Architects are delighted to announce that following five years as Design Director at the AJ120 #5 Practice Capita, Chris Boyce has joined CJCT and will undertake a national role across both London and Leeds studios as Design Director.

Chris has a fantastic track record in many sectors, including Education, Commercial/Mixed use and Civic projects. Following key roles with Sir James Stirling, Michael Wilford and Partners, Sanya Polescuk Architects, Aedas, before joining Capita as Design Director.

He led his former team to their first RIBA National Award (St Silas School AJ 13.06.13/ 29.11.12), an RIBA Regional Award and two Civic Trust Awards between 2010 and 2015.

CJCT continue to grow and mature as a practice since the recession with exciting new projects for both new and repeat clients, including the mixed use masterplan developments at Thorpe Park and Wellington Place in Leeds, and the award winning Vauxhall Sky Gardens in South London.

The practice is continuing to plan for the future seeking to establish a clear vision for development as a practice of ‘choice’ with new offices, awards and by creating a positive employee atmosphere.
