Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher were pleased to attend the opening of ‘The Springs’, a new retail and leisure destination at Thorpe Park Leeds. The scheme is part of the phase two Thorpe Park Leeds Masterplan which will add a further 1.35m sq ft of mixed use accommodation to the established business park, creating one of the largest and most diverse out of town business locations in the UK.
The CJCT designed Masterplan development is a joint venture by Scarborough Group International Ltd and Legal & General Capital as part of a £162m investment deal which will provide jobs, homes and amenity facilities to East Leeds as well as supporting the wider Leeds economy.
The opening of the retail park sees CJCT’s recently completed Grade A office building ‘Paradigm’ come to life at the park entrance and realises the gateway setting envisaged with Scarborough Group and Leeds City Council planners over several years of development.
With a further 900,000 sq ft of commercial accommodation to be delivered at Thorpe Park over the next 5 to 10 years, CJCT look forward to continuing our successful relationship with Scarborough Group, Legal & General and strategic construction partner GMI Construction Ltd.
