Neville has joined CJCT as Director of Interior Design. He has over 30 years experience in design and fit out, and during this time has worked with internationally acclaimed architects and designers on a variety of high quality projects including award winning commercial offices and HQ buildings, residential and hotel interiors, superyachts, airports and leisure based projects, gaining a wide knowledge base covering all aspects of the design process.
In his previous role, Neville worked with a major middle east based multi disciplinary design practice, building and running Interior Design teams in London and Cape Town, and worked on a variety of large scale residential and hotel projects, medical facilities and office projects across the region.
During his 10 years with Foster+Partners, Neville was part of the Cat B fit out team for the HSBC HQ in Canary Wharf, liaising with both the client team and stakeholders, as well as internally with Cat A and base build architects, to develop and deliver a highly specific set of interior spaces. He was also involved with the award winning HQ for Scottish Gas in Leith, Edinburgh, which won local and national BCO awards, and the Scottish Design Awards title of best commercial fit out. Other work included an 80 storey mixed use scheme in Paris, a 40 storey residential scheme in Sydney, and Cat A interiors for 30 St Mary Axe (the Gherkin).
Other significant recent projects have included the redevelopment of Senate House for London University, currently shortlisted by the Building Awards for refurbishment of the year, and work with PLP Architecture on the fit out of the new SKY HQ at its campus in Osterly.
When not working, Neville likes to cook for friends and family, and in 2000 was a contestant on BBC TVs Masterchef. (the real one, with Lloyd Grossman).
