Project Description

As part of the area’s regeneration, CJCT has received approval for a mixed use scheme comprising of 724 residential units, new health centre and commercial space.

The design includes preparation of a new masterplan within the established framework by Hackney Council and detailed plans and elevations supported by computer generated views.  The site is approximately 4.4 ha.

The site fronts onto an area of Metropolitan Open Land and the West Reservoir. Part of the proposals included a new urban park which provides a focus to the masterplan. Around 60% of the residential units are dual aspect and all the have been designed to Parker Morris plus 10% space standards.

The character of the development is driven by a rigorous street hierarchy which responds to the new park and more urban road frontages. The end result is the delivery of exceptionally high quality architecture which makes a positive impact on the site and surrounding area.
