Project Description

The restaurant is built around a journey of discovery across the world made by legendary traveller Farradday. Situated within the Pompano Park Racino (combined race track and casino), the restaurant is entered through an elliptical bar behind a ‘storefront’ of frameless glass.
The bar provides an area for pre-dinner cocktail and casual dining. Beyond the bar, Farradday’s journey is commemorated in a huge map, carved and etched into three glass panels which separate the ‘indoor’ restaurant from the ‘outdoor’ dining terrace and in ‘objects d’art’ from around the world displayed throughout the restaurant.
Intimate seating booths are provided through archways in the stone wall which curves through the restaurant. Behind the wall, semi-circular niches enclose further intimate tables and other seating options cater for everyone from the romantic couple to parties of six or more. Diners who prefer a more lively atmosphere and large parties can eat on the terrace which overlooks the Racino floor below.
