307 Burdett Road will be a 100% affordable housing scheme located on Limehouse Cut, East London.
The scheme has been developed in line with key aspects of PassivHaus design in order to provide a highly efficient and sustainable development reducing carbon emissions and energy consumption.
The massing for the scheme is ‘paired’ with the development opposite at Limehouse cut and follows the line of the canal below with striking materials forming balcony edges and brass window surrounds. The building rises from 6 to 10 storeys along its south to north axis, fronting onto the canal.
The development offers 42 family units which have access to communal amenity roof gardens and dedicated children’s play space for residents use.
