Frenchgate Interchange is a shopping centre and transport interchange; the first of its kind in the country to combine purpose built integrated public transport and shopping under one roof.
The development creates 880,000 sqft of top-quality retail space within 129 units, 900 new parking spaces for shoppers and 500 parking spaces for rail users alongside a state of the art bus and coach facility with 30 stands. High profile tenants include Debenhams, Next and H&M.
As an integral part of the regeneration of Doncaster town centre the scheme was designed to be both striking and functional. Primarily constructed from steel, the most dramatic element to the scheme is the great curved wall that overlooks the railway line.
