Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher were appointed by Chinese hotel operator, Dorsett Hospitality International, to deliver the interior design for the fit-out of the Hotel Restaurant and Pavilion Spa at their new flagship hotel in Shepherd’s Bush in London.
The hotel restaurant caters an all-day service for up to 86 people, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. The restaurant comprises of an intimate private dining suite alongside the main seating area. The design includes a prominent east meets west feel throughout the two spaces with a dramatic glazed roof section overlooking the main restaurant. Features also include a mobile cook station for use during breakfast service.
The Pavilion Spa is located on the top floor of the hotel, offering an array of treatments. The facilities include a nail bar area comprising of two nail stations, individual sauna and steam room facilities with experience showers, 4 treatment rooms including a double treatment room, an infra-red treatment room and a relaxation room. The design cleverly makes full use of the constrained space, and the locations of the relaxing and treatment rooms take full advantage of the striking curved glazed roof.
