CJCT was commissioned by Urban First to improve and extend existing retail facilities at the Corn Exchange.
Described as ‘A Jewel in the Crown’ of Leeds architecture, full approval for the scheme had to be obtained from English Heritage. The scheme whilst being sympathetic to the existing architecture also needed to comply with existing fire and smoke strategies.
The completed scheme extended existing lettable retail area and created new retail units.
