Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher are pleased to announce we have just received planning approval on behalf of Cherwell Group Ltd, for the redevelopment of their site at 363 – 365 Clapham Road.
The proposed mixed-use scheme will see the faithful restoration of a Grade-II listed Edwardian house alongside the redevelopment of the wider site to create a mix of housing, affordable housing and small business office space on an existing light industrial site currently occupied by large warehouse buildings.
Following extensive pre-application discussions with the Borough’s planning officers, consultation with the local community and feedback from the Strategic Sites Panel, the proposed scheme illustrates a key opportunity to regenerate a prominent site in the Clapham Road Conservation Area.
The proposals will deliver a total of 28 new apartments including 6 affordable apartments, as well as over 16,000sqft of high quality, flexible office space aimed at small and medium sized businesses.
