At the end of last week Studios North and South went on their annual Christmas study tour to this year’s destination Hamburg. Apart from being a fantastic social event, the destination also offered a variety of architectural sights and styles. One of the highlights of the trip was the chance to visit the new Elbphilharmonie concert hall and surrounding HafenCity quarter, an inspiring example of waterfront regeneration.
