Ashley joined CJCT following 6 years at Fourpoint Architects, where he nurtured his passion for architecture into an enviably applicable skillset, progressing from an Architectural Assistant to an Associate of the firm in under 3 years.
During his time at Fourpoint Architects, Ashley experienced project leadership over a range of sectors, recently overseeing various technically complex residential led schemes, including Braganza Street and Manor Place Terrace – a complex façade retention scheme in LB Southwark.
Ashley’s career has seen him experience all stages of design, from feasibility studies through to construction information, fostering an approach to design which is rooted in both an eye for aesthetics as well as the understanding of the practicalities of construction.
His experience designing large-scale residential led commercial developments is exemplified by the Thamesmead scheme, Southmere Village. Phase 1a of Southmere Village delivered 130 homes and 2 commercial units for Peabody, with the secondary phase 1b providing a further 404 dwellings and 14 commercial units. Both phases of the development have a combined construction cost of £165M.
