This is the latest success in our longstanding relationship with Scarborough Group and follows our approval for B7 and BCO shortlisting for ‘Lumina’ earlier in the year. The project also further reaffirms Scarborough Group’s commitment to Thorpe Park; Mark Jackson, Development Director at Scarborough Group International said:
“Thorpe Park Leeds is a flagship project for the Northern Powerhouse and our commitment to invest further, even in these uncertain economic times, shows our faith in the strength of the city of Leeds, Yorkshire, and the North.”
Building B3 sits at the heart of the next phase of office development at Thorpe Park and offers over 130,000sqft of grade A office accommodation. Set over seven storeys facing onto a new urban square the proposal includes a gym, space for a nursery and space for 450 cars within a podium parking structure; it’s position at the centre of the masterplan allows for views across parkland to the north and west with easy access to a host of outstanding retail and leisure activities within The Springs. The proposal is conceived as a sister to Building B7 and follows a similar simple palette of elegantly proportioned high-quality glazing set within a solid, deep finned curtain walling system to create a refined elevation.
GMI Construction have begun setting the site up and groundworks have begun with a completion set for late 2022.
