CJCT are pleased to announce that the handover of 140 Wales Farm Road was completed last Tuesday for Imperial College London. The 731 bed student scheme, coupled with 85 BTR homes is the latest in a growing portfolio of work for Imperial College London.
Central to the scheme is the large open courtyard, linking the four buildings and providing an attractive and practical space for residents of the student homes . A large double height atrium provides views through from the entrance of the building and leads to the generous communal areas located at ground floor and first floor level. The elegant brick facade coupled with a simple material palette and consistent detailing, ties the four buildings together to form a striking ensemble. The tallest part of the scheme extends to 30 levels and forms a distinctive and high-quality addition to the skyline of Acton
During a challenging time for all, congratulations must go to Imperial College London, the Design Team and Ardmore Construction for maintaining the programme to ensure the practical completion was met in time for the new academic year.
