PBSA Scheme Granted Planning Permission

The members of Tuesday’s planning committee meeting in Hammersmith and Fulham voted unanimously on the resolution to grant planning permission to our PBSA scheme for Imperial College London on their White City Campus.

The project is a milestone for our client as it is the last building plot of ICL’s White City Campus North masterplan and provides 216 student bedrooms to complement the academic facilities within the White City Innovation District. The scheme is in good company with adjacent high profile buildings by Allies and Morrison and Pilbrow and Partners already built or under construction within the campus.

Architecturally the design forms an important transition in the townscape between the residential area defined by Victorian terraced houses to the north and the larger scale campus buildings to the south. The stepped design bridges between these character areas and further connects the campus and community with flexible commercial spaces at street level.
