We’re happy to share that amidst the excitement of UKREiiF, our Water Lane development in Leeds broke ground!
Designed by ourselves for McLaren Living and Heim Global Investor, Water Lane will deliver 375 new homes in the South Bank Regeneration area of Leeds, transforming a vacant car park site into vibrant space. CJCT have been working with McLaren Living since 2021, taking the project from feasibility to planning stage. The scheme compliments the Midland Mills development to collaboratively enhance the public realm against the historic viaduct, with external landscaped terrace areas providing residential tranquillity and impressive views across the city on the topmost terrace.
Taking into account the then emerging BSA 2022, Water Lane evolved to incorporate new regulations such as the ‘second staircase’ whilst maintaining and committing to the original apartment mix and total number of units.
