We are pleased to announce that our latest office development at Thorpe Park has received planning consent from Leeds City Council. Building B7 represents the latest success in our longstanding relationship with Scarborough Group and follows our recently completed, BCO shortlisted, ‘Lumina’ building.
Set on a prominent site within the masterplan B7 will be a landmark office building offering over 60,000sqft of grade ‘A’ office space set over six storeys with terraced areas overlooking parkland to the north and direct access to a host of outstanding retail and leisure activities within The Springs. The building is the first of the northern plots to be developed and will represent a new gateway to the larger masterplan from the north with easy access to the new East Leeds Orbital Relief Road (scheduled to open March 2022) and beyond.
The proposal sets a high standard for the quality of construction and aims to set a benchmark for future commercial developments at Thorpe Park. A simple palette of elegantly proportioned high-quality glazing set within a solid, deep finned metallic curtain walling system creates a refined elevation. New public realm at the entrance to the building ensures that all aspects offer views over a variety of landscapes.
