Tim studied architecture at the internationally renowned Bartlett School of Architecture (University College of London). After qualifying in 1993 he went on to hone his design skills with top international practices Terry Farrell & Co, Lifschultz Davidson and HOK, before joining CJCT as a Director.

Recent examples of Tim’s residential work include the Riverside Quarter development in Wandsworth, The Lighterman which forms part of Phase 2 of the Greenwich Peninsula Development and Candle House in Leeds. Recognised for its innovative design and sustainable construction methods, Candle House has won a number of major awards including a national RIBA Award. Tim is also the designer of The Queenshurst in Kingston upon Thames. Completed in the spring of 2019, The Queenshurst boasts over 300 apartments as well as providing leisure, retail and commercial space. It is already considered to be one of Greater London’s most impressive residential-led mixed-use developments of recent years.

Tim’s passion for the highest design standards led naturally to his stewardship of the in-house Design Group. He is responsible for the studio and practice-wide design reviews, which ensures that all CJCT projects are subjected to rigorous peer review and an ongoing improved design quality.
